Ok, you all don't know this but I'm writing a book. I love listening to music while I do it. So the song I listen to is "Aidee" by the Vocaloids, but I listen to it in English, Japanese, Italian, or whatever. So here's the Italian version.
I recently found out about a seventh grade girl killing herself because she was bullied so much. Her name was Amanda Todd. I wish that I could have done something to help her. She was bullied, harassed, and was being used. She attempted suicide 2 or 3 times. At the end of her life she started cutting. (I did that to get rid of the sins I've committed). If you click the site at the bottom you can hear her story. I would deeply appreciate it if you would leave some nice comments for her as well. Thank you all very much.
So I've been thinking, our blog's URL is Randomstoriesandotherhilariousthings.blogspot.com, but I haven't really posted any stories yet (Blackrabbit-san has posted a few). Stories are where the fun is. Even if it's just a short narrative, there's something exciting about hearing an experience from someone else's point of view. So, let the random stories begin!
How do you guys usually find the new music you like? Pandora, friends, online recommendations? Have you ever found a song that you ended up loving, but you found out about it in some crazy, strange way? Let me explain my obsession with the song, "Rock Lobster" by the B-52's.
Well I suppose it all started with a book. That's right, a book. I had just finished reading It'sRaining Cupcakes, by Lisa Shroeder. It was a fairly interesting book and I rather enjoyed it. It was about a girl working at her mother's cupcake shop and discovering her own talents for baking. Anyway at the back of the book, there were many recipes for the unique cupcakes.
A few days later, I found myself baking a batch of coconut cupcakes with my aunt whilst spending time with her at her house. She told me that I had to go online a find "baking music." She told me about Grooveshark.com and how to listen to songs from that website (I now listen to Grooveshark all the time).
Here's the real kicker: at the time, the only songs I could think of off the top of my head were "Call me Maybe" and "Bored of Everything" by Carly Jepsen and Ellegarden. I know, pathetic. Well she showed me a few songs she liked, such as "Cool for Cats" by Squeeze and, of course, "Rock Lobster."
I enjoyed "Cool for Cats," but Rock Lobster was so unique and quirky, I loved it! The thing is, that song is what introduced me to other music that I love today. Now it's painful for me to listen to "Call me Maybe" and "Bored of Everything." I was already into the Beatles at the time, but that was all. I just figured that I wasn't into music. Boy, was I wrong! Now I love Billy Joel, the Kinks, and so many songs from the 60's, 70's, 80's! I found that I don't even really like the music of this century (there are some exceptions). I've discovered so much in so little time, all because of one fantastic song called "Rock Lobster." Maybe through this story, you'll learn something new about yourself too, and then you'll have your own story to tell.
all, unfortunately I write bringing bad news. Glee star Cory Monteith was found
dead yesterday on July 13, 2013. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of his
family and Lea Michele. He was one of my
idols and a truly inspiring person. He will be missed.
Ok I'm obsessed with the Vocaloids. Ok so what are they there anime singers. They're anthroids or robots. I love Len and Rin, Luka, Miku, and Gumi.
Here are some of my fave songs:
1 Trick or Treat
2 Daughter/ Servant of Evil
3 Chemical Emotion
5 Honey Honey
6 Masscara and Blue Jeans
7 AiDee I love them!!! Whoa, my font changed, awesome, got to tell Lulu. Hehehe Listen to the songs especially the last one. See ya ~ blackrabbit-san
Sorry that there's not a ton of updates. Guess what? I was on my scooter going to the library to get manga, 'cause that's what I do, and my scooter was dirty so I was like, "I'm going to get it washed." And that's what I did. I went to a car wash and got my scooter cleaned. It's freaking sparkling now, people!!!!! I was like, "WTF is up with my scooter?!" Yeah so any of you guys do that.
Sorry it's been a while, Blackrabbit-san and I have been soaking up our vacation time. Did you know that our motivational poster contest ends tomorrow? Click here if you want to make a last minute entry!
Come on, there's gotta be something you can think of to do with this picture! Anyway, if you would like to submit an entry or request some artwork from Blackrabbit-san, email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Hey everyone. last night I watched this movie called I, Robot. It was really good. It had a lot of action, comedy, suspense, and a lot more. The main character (Will Smith) is a cop that does not like robots. He has to solve a murder case on why the creator of the NS5 killed himself. It's a great movie and if you like action you should see it. But it's PG-13. so be warned if you watch it.
Summer. The deadly hot sun raging down making me sweat and die from dehydration. Summer when scary bugs like butterflies and spiders roam the lands of my back yard. Yes the glorious days of summer when I have nothing to do when my friends are away.
The good summer things
Yes summer when no homework or school is around. Staying up late and sleeping in. Yes summer when I have a huge cone of ice cream to eat. Summer where pools and relaxing by a beach rule. Yes I love the laziness from doing nothing but reading a book.
